Searching by category

We are happy to inform you that we have made another addition to our service - the search by the news articles according to various categories. This new feature allows you to now filter your news search and narrow down to articles in areas of interest to you.

We have introduced several categories under our API such as entertainment, business, technology, sports among others. That is why our service will be even more useful to those who want to get access to news articles belonging to a specific category.

As an illustration, you can use the following query in case you are interested in getting the most recent news in the entertainment field:

https://api.apitube.io/v1/news/everything?category.name=news/Arts_and_Entertainment

This will be used to retrieve a list of the recent news items in the Entertainment category. Likewise, in case you want to know the news of a business, you can make the following query:

https://api.apitube.io/v1/news/everything?category.name=news/Business

This will give a list of the most recent news in Business category. To find news articles of other categories you can also use our API which uses a simple change of the category code in the request.

It is a new feature that has customised our service and rendered it more useful than ever. You might be a business analyst or you might be just interested in to being taught the latest news in the category of your interest and in either case, our API will keep you informed and on track.
