Sales Manager (Account Executive)

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to own direct sales at APITube. Our customers range from solo developers to data teams at large companies, and many of them sell online — so understanding the e-commerce and online retail market is a real advantage when you talk to them. You will run the full sales cycle: find the right accounts, understand what they need, and close. This is a quota-carrying role for someone who likes talking to customers and closing deals.

You

• 3+ years in B2B sales, ideally selling a technical or API product
• You have carried a quota and hit it, and you can walk through deals you closed
• You understand the e-commerce and online retail market and how data and news feeds create value there
• Comfortable selling to both technical and business buyers in the same deal
• Organized with your pipeline: you keep your CRM clean and your forecast honest
• Direct, clear communicator who listens more than they pitch

Responsibilities

• Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close
• Drive direct sales against a quota and own your number
• Qualify inbound leads and build outbound pipeline into e-commerce and data-driven companies
• Understand each prospect's business and map APITube to a concrete use case
• Keep the CRM current and give an accurate forecast
• Feed what you hear from customers back to product and marketing
