Filter news by tone

You can now filter news by whether the coverage is positive, negative, or neutral.

Sentiment analysis labels the tone of an article. Use it to compare coverage of companies, products, and services.

For example, request articles about Apple with a positive tone:

https://api.apitube.io/v1/news/everything?per_page=2&title=Apple&sentiment.overall.polarity=positive

This example requests two articles with Apple in the title and a positive tone.

You can also filter by a range of sentiment scores:

https://api.apitube.io/v1/news/everything?per_page=2&sentiment.overall.score.min=-0.2&sentiment.overall.score.max=0.4&title=Apple

The second request also searches for Apple in the title. Its score range includes articles with a more moderate positive or negative tone.
