Frequently asked questions

APITube delivers articles within moments of them being indexed. You can either hold an open stream (SSE or WebSocket) and read articles as they arrive, or have articles pushed to your endpoint with webhooks.
Use SSE for a simple one-way read of new articles over plain HTTP. Use WebSocket (/v1/news/ws) when you want a full-duplex connection. Use webhooks when you would rather receive HTTP POSTs on your own URL and not maintain a connection.
Yes. SSE, WebSocket, and webhooks all accept the same filters as /v1/news/everything — language, category, source, sentiment, entities, and dates — so you subscribe only to the articles you care about.
You pay per article actually delivered — 1 credit each across streams and webhooks. Open connections and heartbeats without new articles are not billed.
Open an SSE stream in one line with curl, or create a webhook in the dashboard. See the dedicated SSE Real-Time Stream and Webhooks pages for full examples and event formats.
